NEIINFRA 2026 was held in Shillong, bringing together Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of all eight Northeastern states, policymakers, investors, and infrastructure companies to formulate a sustainable infrastructure roadmap for Northeast India.

- Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announced newly sanctioned projects worth ₹1.6 lakh crore for Northeast India.
