New Meghalaya House in Mumbai

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis jointly laid the foundation stone for a new Meghalaya House at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai.

The new facility will strengthen Meghalaya’s institutional presence in Maharashtra and provide better accommodation and public facilities for people from Meghalaya visiting Mumbai, especially patients and attendants travelling for treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital.

The existing Meghalaya House at Vashi, established in 2008, has only 12 rooms. The new Meghalaya House will be built on 2,071.67 sq. metres of land at Kharghar.
