West Jaintia Hills District Court Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for LDC, Stenographer & Other Posts
The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai, Government of Meghalaya, has released an official recruitment advertisement for various posts. Genuine citizens of India who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to apply via offline mode.

Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 and 32 years of age as of the first day of the year in which the advertisement is made.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- There is no age limit for candidates already in the service of the State Government, provided they entered service within the prescribed age limit.
Application Fee
- General Candidates: Rs. 300/-
- SC & ST Candidates: Rs. 150/-
- Payment Mode: The fee is payable via Demand Draft drawn in favour of “District & Sessions Judge, West Jaintia Hills District, Jowai”. Candidates must write their name, address, and the post applied for on the back of the draft.
How to Apply
- Application Form: Submit the application using the Standard Form as prescribed in Part-IX of the Meghalaya Gazette.
- Photographs: Attach 2 recent passport-size coloured identical photographs. One must be pasted on the form and self-attested (so the signature crosses the photo and the form), and the other should be enclosed.
- Self-Addressed Envelope: Include one self-attested envelope (23cm x 10cm) affixed with a Rs. 5/- postage stamp.
- Required Documents: Attach self-attested copies of Educational/Experience Certificates, Caste Certificate, Birth Certificate/Age proof, and Proof of Residence.
- Mailing Details: The main envelope containing the form and documents must be superscribed with “Application for the post of [Name of the Post]”.
- Address for Submission: Send the fully filled application and Demand Draft to the “District & Sessions Judge, West Jaintia Hills District, Khliehtyrshi-793150”.
Note: Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms and fees for each post.
